License and brand
Code — Elastic License 2.0
Tusab's source code is source-available under the Elastic License 2.0: anyone can read, audit, run, and freely modify it for their own use. The one relevant restriction is not offering Tusab as a hosted/managed service to third parties.
External Pull Requests are not accepted at this time — see Contributing.
The "Tusab" brand
The name "Tusab", the logo, and the associated visual identity are trademarks of CriAugu — Augusto Alves Brasil (CNPJ 65.131.075/0001-57), with a pending INPI registration. These trademarks are not covered by the code license — the code license is automatic and independent of trademark registration (Law No. 9,610/1998); INPI registration protects the name/logo separately.
What this means in practice
You may use, copy, modify, and distribute the code in this repository under the terms of the license. You may not:
- Use the "Tusab" name or logo in a fork, modified distribution, or derivative product in a way that suggests it's the official project or endorsed by CriAugu
- Publish a fork on the same distribution channels (GitHub Releases, app stores) using the "Tusab" name
If you distribute a modified version, give the fork a different name and make it clear it's a derivative project, not affiliated with the original Tusab.
Third-party dependencies
